Organisations
Mothers Union
Mothers Union is a worldwide Anglican organisation concerned with all aspects of Christian family life.
Mothers Union has grown into an organisation of over a million members in 60 countries, working to improve family life in our own communities through action and prayer.
St. Mary's branch was opened in 1910 and now meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 2pm in the Church Hall Annexe and on most 1st Wednesday afternoons for "knit and natter". Everyone is welcome.
In addition to our regular meetings, the branch is always well represented at deanery, diocesan and provincial events. There is always an annual outing, Christmas lunch and party and there is a Mothers Union stall at the summer and christmas fairs.
Prayer Group
St. Mary's Prayer Group meets regularly in the choir vestry on Monday afternoons at 2pm for most of the year. We are a small, but dedicated group who feel it is important to support the work of the Church through prayers.
