Club is a youth club for 7 to 11 year olds, run by volunteers. It is held in St. Mary's Church Hall during school term time on a Friday evening from 6.00pm til 7.30pm.
A range of activities are offered to the children, and a typical evening at J Club starts with an informal ball game in the main hall and craft activities in the annexe. After an hour the children are offered a drink and a biscuit prepared by two members on a rota basis.
Occasionally there are theme nights celebrating special occasions i.e. Chinese New Year, and the 2002 World Cup.
We also hold fundraising events and have occasional trips out.
