L19
L19:Dream
Is an alternative style of worship where a quiet space is sought after in the company of others, to find stillness, prayer, and encounter with God through prayer and fellowship all having a very contemporary feel to it. L19:Dream is part of the larger dream network, and by browsing the dream website you’ll discover other “dreams” around Liverpool and the CORE values that underpin it.
L19:Dream is held on the last Thursday each month and begins at 8pm. We begin and end with a café. The worship is based on a theme, with readings, music, and prayer stations helping us to reflect upon this more deeply. The Dream catch phrase is “Re-imagining the church” this has a different emphasis than you would expect from normal Sunday worship. Please come and bring cushion with you!
L19:Messy Church
This is something new and exciting. L19:Messy Church is an opportunity for people of all ages to come together, and to explore a theme through craft, worship and then eating together. It is not exclusively family or children based. While we do have these there are also single and older people too. L19:Messy Church is held once a month an Saturday at 4pm. For more detail browse the Messy Church website.
L19:Reading Group
Has been running for over a year now. Its aim is to look at good best selling books and in a gentle way to tease out the issue that emerge from them and quietly reflect upon them. Most of the books are selected from the current best sellers list. L19:Reading Group meets once a month, currently on a Thursday evening.
